Being Who You Are, Find the Right Synthetic Wigs

My mother and I didn’t think the breathtakingly human Chandra Smart, my youthful partner in crime, could own and wear lace front wigs. Her terrific long black hair added so much to her femininity. Guess what? The one and only continues to be known because of her attitude. Not many in town can tell she lives confidently wearing well-crafted African American wigs. Keep it on the DL.

As youths finding our way in our home town of Scottsdale, we used to took turns winning Miss “SCH” four years running. A few years went by before her medical hair loss kicked in and she went bald. I hinted about a few lace front wigs. Whatever, balding was no big deal to her. Even on bad days she somewhat obnoxiously demonstrated her innate beauty.

Obliged to show at our alma mater’s homecoming, we heckled till some kluts retardedly hit the ball (or whichever thing that is) into the stands. With quick reflexes she reached out for the thing when her bandana jumped from her head, unveiling her bald head. Undisturbed, she hurled the thing with a tremendous heave to her man. What’d I tell ya about her spunk?

That said, everyone has insecurities. Not too long after at our semi-monhtly “Gilmore Girls” binge, where she laughed nervously and revealed that she would rather go bald out of anger. She dare not spend money on medical wigs, even if she wanted her hair back. At that disclosure, she stopped talking and demanded that I should think nothing more of it. She really needed help.

There was no way to get her words out of my head. The next morning, I asked her about going shopping with me for a new lace front wig. Eventually the two of us ended up with the obvious conclusion: we were going wig shopping! So I’m getting one too!

We had a ball wig shopping, amazed by the options. She never knew that wigs are so prevalent for people, even superstars. These wigs for women’s hair loss were exactly what she needed. I coordinated a delightfully contemporary set of outfits around our wigs. We do it all together, and that will surely endure. Recently she thanked me for the wig, and explained it encourages a feminine mystique in her life. It’s my pleasure to see her reclaim her beauty. I’m right there with her.
